Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ
The Diocese requires two years of Sacramental prep in order for students to receive the Sacrament. Students start preparing for Confirmation in the 9th grade through our C.A.F.E. Sundays and/or Y-Disciple programs. Confirmation is ordinarily received in the spring of their 10th grade year.
If you are an adult and have received Baptism and First Communion, and would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this year, please contact the Faith Formation Office and we will guide you through the process!
